A data and surveillance link between two pump stations

Critical InfrastructureUtilitiesSurveillance

My role: I commissioned the microwave data link and CCTV network connecting both stations.

SWCC is the Saudi state corporation responsible for desalination — one of the largest operators of its kind in the world, supplying a significant share of the kingdom’s municipal water from seawater.

I commissioned a microwave-based data link paired with a CCTV monitoring network, built as a wide-area system connecting SWCC’s high-pressure-trunk (HPT) pump stations between Riyadh and Jubail.

The link gives operators continuous visibility and data connectivity across a national-scale water-supply corridor — critical infrastructure most citizens never think about, running quietly in the background.
