Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities · Government / Culture
A 2-million-image digital library for Saudi tourism
My role: I conceptualized and deployed the digital library, including its paid subscription access model for marketing agencies.
The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (now part of the Ministry of Tourism) is the government body responsible for promoting the kingdom’s heritage sites and tourist attractions on the world stage — a mandate that runs on media, at scale.
I conceptualized and deployed an advanced intranet digital library to curate and manage the Commission’s entire media archive, with controlled, tiered access for marketing agencies — paid and free subscription levels — to license and promote regional tourism content.
The result: a single managed archive of over 2 million images and 23,000 hours of HD video, now the backbone of how Saudi tourism content reaches marketing partners.
